Acorn Covered Jar Blue Jeans B

I made this while thinking of the acorns I find in Maine (USA), which are charming and plump.

It's fun to think about what to put in it: tsukudani, umeboshi, salt, sugar, bath salt, etc.

Since I started living in Maine, I became particularly intrigued by the color blue. There, the air is clear and the light enriches the colors of nature. The color of the sea and sky are ever changing.

This color varies depending on its location in the kiln and I gave it the American name Blue Jeans to celebrate the wide variety of shades. It’s an unusual color and well loved.
