A small cup is best for fragrant Chinese tea. This one holds about 40 ml.
It is made of red clay, not porcelain, and you can feel the earthiness. The inside is gray kohiki and the outside is glazed in a green glaze that exhibits a wide range of colors when fired. It sometimes it turns into the color of wisteria. There are two types with the same glaze. One with more green and the other with more wisteria.
