Since I started living in Maine, I became particularly intrigued by the color blue. There, the air is clear and the light enriches the colors of nature. The color of the sea and sky are ever changing.

This color varies depending on its location in the kiln and I gave it the American name Blue Jeans to celebrate the wide variety of shades. It’s an unusual color and well loved.
