From 2000-2006 After apprenticing with her father, Takashi Nakazato, in Karatsu, Japan, Hanako worked with Malcolm Wright
at the Turnpike Road Pottery in VT for five years. Her time in the states also included stints at the Anderson Ranch
Arts Center in CO, and the Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in ME.
